Perfect little Spot for Lunch or dinner. Outside tables also. Chicken and Fish soo fresh and meaty ribs Tasty Potato salad and good Service.
Annie Lee's was a fantastic stop! We popped in for a late lunch on a Sunday afternoon. The whole family got the wings and they were seasoned perfectly. We didn't add anything additional to them because they were so good. We also got collard greens, Mac n cheese, cornbread, candied sweet potatoes, and french fries. The sweet potatoes were delicious and so were the collard greens. If you are looking for good food this is the place to go!! There is seating inside and outside.
The owners are friendly, kind, & personable. Preparing your food to serving it to you ; very courteous & polite. ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS Ribs are tender & have lots of meat on the bone. Greens are just the right crispness & the sweet potatoes have just a hint of sweetness. Yummmmm. Will definitely be eating here again
Easily the best food in Ambridge by a long shot. The seasoning blend on the chicken wings is perfect and the sides are insane. Literally everything on the menu is amazing. They can do no wrong.
The chicken wings were the best item I tried. I'd wished I'd ordered more. I wasn't too happy about the collards and ribs. I'm from the south so maybe I have a different taste for southern soul food. The red beans and rice were mushy but had flavor.
Today the greens weren’t that done, a lil on the crunchy side with no flavor. The red beans n rice was over cooked with no flavor. The ribs fell off the bone delicious as usual, sauce was on point and the fried chicken was fried with love just didn’t have much seasoning. So for the price I paid, the sides could have had more soul. I will just buy the meat and make my own sides.
As a former Texan, I can attest to the authenticity of this establishments food. Perfect ribs, smoky and tender. Potato salad was great and the cornbread was moist and perfectly baked. Then there was the Collard Greens. I have not had them that good since 1995. When I left Texas. Enjoy!
